It’s great that all our dedication and hard work has been recognised by Startups.co.uk and we would like to congratulate the winners of the main awards as the competition was very high this year. It is unfortunate that we are now past our startup phase are unable to be nominated for next year as the feedback and encouragement from all the judges  and fellow business people and celebrities that we met in London was fantastic and we had a wonderful evening. It is great to be able to say that we made the final out of such a large number of UK businesses!”

This year’s judging panel consisted of some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs, including Martin Webb, entrepreneur & presenter of Channel 4’s Risking It All, Tim Campbell, winner of BBC’s The Apprentice, 2005 and Jonathon Moules, entrepreneurship Correspondent, Financial Times.

LABELS4KIDS WORKING WITH VISA AND MASTERCARD FOR ADDED SECURITY ONLINE

As an online business we know that our customers’ security is of the utmost importance. To this end Labels4Kids is working together with Visa and MasterCard to offer you extra protection when using your credit or debit card with us.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode work in the same way as Chip & Pin, protecting your card with a password against unauthorised use. If your bank or card issuer is already part of the scheme you may have seen the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode page appear when you last made a purchase with another participating Internet retailer.

From mid July 2007, when you next buy with www.labels4kids.com, if your bank is participating you may be asked to register for either MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa. This is likely to depend on the type of card you are using to make payment. Initially this will apply to purchases made using Maestro cards only, however the service will follow for Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, and Visa Electron in due course also.

Simply follow the online instructions to set up your password before completing your order. This is a one-off registration process and, after you’ve chosen your password, all future orders with www.labels4kids.com  name labels and other participating internet retailers will be completed with this added security. If you are unsure if your bank has not yet introduced this security measure, please visit www.mastercard.com or www.visaeurope.com for more information on how the system works and the benefits for your card security when this is introduced. Alternatively for more information please contact your bank directly.

Whether it’s your name labels, name tapes, gym bags, or school labels from www.labels4kids.com, your valuable time, or your card details, we treat them all with the maximum amount of respect and care. Despite the initial hassle gettins used to the new system it is vital for your own card security and we hope that this extra security reinforces your trust in our service. You will see the system in place with all major online retailers who care about your online security.

Regards,

Ann-Maree and the team at www.labels4kids.com
