  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

Personal Data Protection

We process personal information for certain legitimate business purposes which include some or all of the following:

  • where the processing enables us to enhance, modify, personalise or otherwise improve our services / communications for the benefit of our customers
  • to identify and prevent fraud
  • to enhance the security of our network and information systems
  • to better understand how people interact with our websites
  • to provide postal communications which we think will be of interest to you
  • to determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and advertising.

Whenever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always keep your Personal Data rights in high regard and take account of these rights. You have the right to object to this processing if you wish, and if you wish to do so please click here. Please bear in mind that if you object this may affect our ability to carry out tasks above for your benefit, or fulfil your order for you.

How to access and control your personal data

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

  • when you are at the checkout there is a clear small paragraph that states that if you click to proceed you will be accepting our terms and conditions and privacy policy in sharing data by doing so,
  • if you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at sales@labels4kids.com.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the regulations of GDPR. There is no fee payable for this unless the request is unreasonable in amount at which stage you will be notified prior to agreeing to the charge. We would not then process the request until the fee was received. In most cases there would of course be no charge. We would only refuse to comply with a subject access request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, taking into account whether the request is repetitive in nature. If we consider that a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive we would justify this decision to you, request and receive the agreed administration cost fee, and then either.:

  • request a "reasonable fee" to deal with the request; or
  • refuse to deal with the request.

If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to .

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

You can view, edit or delete your personal data online if you have an account set up. You can also make choices about Labels4Kids' collection and use of your data. How you can access or control your personal data will depend on whether you set up an account when ordering with Labels4Kids or whether you checked out as a guest, or simply registered for your newletter subscription service.

  • Labels4Kids account. If you wish to access, edit or remove the profile information and payment information in your Labels4Kids account, change your password, add security information, subscribe or unsubscribe from the newsletters, or close your account, you can do so by logging in at Account Login. You can also use the contact form to ask a question, email sales@labels4kids.com or phone us on +44 (0)3331234559.
  • Guest checkout on ordering, or newsletter subscriber. If you wish to access, edit or remove the profile information and payment information you use with Labels4Kids please use the contact form, email sales@labels4kids.com or phone us on +44 (0)3331234559 to confirm what you would like to do. If you are a guest checkout holder the only information we hold for you is your order details, excluding banking information, and your name, address and phone number and any cookies (see below). Newsletter subsribers we only hold name, address and email for you and any preference you may have given us to subscribe for your newsletter.

Your Communications Preferences

You can choose whether you wish to receive promotional communications from Labels4Kids by email, post and telephone. If you receive promotional email messages from us and would like to opt out, you can do so by following the directions in those messages. You can also make choices about the receipt of promotional email, telephone calls and post by signing in with your personal Labels4Kids account if you set one up on ordering. You can view your communication preferences and permissions there including contact preferences, opt out of email subscriptions. If you do not have a personal Labels4Kids account, you can manage your Labels4Kids email contact preferences by emailing sales@labels4kids.com or phoning us on +44 (0)3331234559  These choices do not apply to mandatory service communications that are part of our order processing legal requirements in order to process your order, or to surveys or other informational communications that have their own unsubscribe method. An example would be Feefo, our review service, which is linked to your ordering in order for us to receive feedback on your order and our service standards.

Your Advertising Choices

You may opt out of receiving interest-based advertising from Labels4Kids by visiting our opt out page. When you opt out, your selection will be stored in a cookie that is specific to the web browser that you are using. The opt-out cookie has an expiry date of five years. If you delete the cookies on your device, you will need to opt out again.

Because the data used for interest-based advertising is also used for other necessary purposes (including providing our products, analytics and fraud detection), opting out of newsletter emails does not stop that data from being collected. Nor does it mean you will stop getting ads or see fewer ads. However, if you do opt out, the ads you receive will no longer be interest-based and may be less relevant to your interests.

You can opt out of receiving interest-based advertising from third parties that we partner with by visiting their sites separately. The only sites we partner with are those which we require to process your orders or for our social media advertising. See list of cookies below for 3rd party cookies.

Browser-Based Controls

  • Cookie Controls. Relevant browser-based cookie controls are described in the cookies section of this privacy statement.
  • Tracking Protection. Internet Explorer (versions 9 and up) has a feature called Tracking Protection that will block third-party content, including cookies, from any site that is listed in a Tracking Protection List you add. By limiting calls to these sites, the browser will limit the information that these third-party sites can collect about you.
  • Browser Controls for “Do Not Track”. Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” (DNT) features that can send a signal to the websites that you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, Labels4Kids do not currently respond to browser DNT signals. We continue to work with the online industry to define a common understanding of how to treat DNT signals. In the meantime, you can use the range of other tools that we provide to control data collection and use, including the ability to opt out of receiving interest-based advertising from Microsoft as described above.
